From the very beginning, the trainer portal www.foraus.de was at the heart of the cooperation - a portal that DEKRA Media planned, technically developed and edited for many years on behalf of the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training. Germany-wide and also internationally, foraus.de was and still is a flagship project showing how the possibilities of technological development can be creatively used to build target group-specific educational solutions, in this case for training staff. 

The “Knowledge Community” foraus.de should specifically support training staff in sharing experiences and learning, as well as make important information easily accessible to training staff. The editorial maintenance of the platform, for which DEKRA Media was responsible until 2016, proved to be particularly important. It made a significant contribution to the success of the platform and was therefore later incorporated into the internal editorial team for BIBB’s websites. Even though DEKRA Media itself is no longer involved, this was a huge success for the media agency from Mönchengladbach.  

Even after the end of regular editorial support, DEKRA Media continued to produce high-quality content for foraus.de. On the one hand, these were extensive, technically and methodically elaborated learning modules, and on the other, an innovative 12-part explanatory film series. In the latter, DEKRA Media presented exciting projects in around ten-minute film documentaries, with which large corporations, medium-sized companies and schools are responding to the ever increasing pace of digitalisation in their training practices.
